On Saturday March 22nd the WalshBots participated in a joint middle and high school robotics scrimmage hosted by Quinsigamond Community College.  It was the last local event before our 8th grade and high school teams head off to California to compete at the VEX Robotics World Championship April 23-26th.  Saturday’s event was meant to be a low pressure get together of teams with the focus on having fun.  WalshBots got to compete against the Framingham High Robotics Team and Fuller Middle School’s AquaBots (competing for their very first time!).  It was a fun day and our 8th grade WalshBot team was able to consult with judges and other teams to prepare themselves for the California competition.

Just a reminder – If you’d like to donate to help with our team’s expenses for this trip here’s the link to that information –

As we prepare for this exciting opportunity in April, we want people to know that we really appreciate everyone’s encouragement and support and are happy with any donation, no matter what amount, that helps us get to the World Robotics Competition in California over April Vacation!!

The WalshBots Robotics Team –  Thanks you!!!
