“SWISH” videos – Sept. 2017

How to create a “SWISH” VIDEO

The Swishblog uses the technique of quickly tilting the camera up or down to serve as a transition between clips. Basically just shoot little scenes of every day life in this way … starting with a quick pan up, ending with a quick pan up. When put together, it all blends into this weird … thing. Easy to make and it ends up looking pretty cool.  🙂

Step 1: Hit record and quickly swish (tilt) the camera up.
Step 2: Continue to record your beautiful clip!
Step 3: While you’re still recording quickly swish your camera up again.
Step 4: Stop recording.
Step 5: Repeat steps 1 through 4 until you’re satisfied.

When it comes time to edit, simply stitch the clips together through

the swishes to create your Swishblog.
